Who is Russell Brunson?

Russell Brunson was well known in the entrepreneurship space before creating ClickFunnels. He has a USA Today best selling book called DotCom Secrets, and has a following of over 1,000,000 Entrepreneurs.

Before starting ClickFunnels, he was already instilling the idea of sales funnels to other Entrepeneurs.

From about age 12, he started studying every piece of marketing material he could get his hands on – commercials, mail, magazines. He wanted to learn everything he could about marketing and sales.

Russell’s first online business was built around selling How to Build Potato Gun guides. As ridiculous as it sounds, it was working for him. After graduating from college, he sold over $1,000,000 worth of products and services online within the first year.

That’s pretty incredible success, which is why I always stress learning from his training sessions, such as Funnel Builder Secrets. Keep in mind, the internet wasn’t nearly what it is today.

Of course, Russell was dedicated, and a hard worker. He built up his personal brand rather fast and efficiently. A lot of people may think he was an overnight success after reading this bio, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

He encountered many issues with building sales funnels online, which is why he ultimately created ClickFunnels. After teaming up with Todd Dickerson, they launched the software, and it’s grown abnormally fast since that day.
